Harvested October, 2010 Triple bagged before frozen We harvested these San Marzano tomatoes in October, 2011. We triple bagged it using grocery produce bags and then froze it. These pictures were taken in February, 2011.  This is the last batch from the garden.  Tomatoes are dropped in tap water for 20 seconds before cut for use in curries. Organic Warm Lover Seeds Started We have been very busy planning out 2011 farming season.  We will be farming up to 10 acres with 80 varieties of mixed vegetables.   We got an exciting line up of heirloom, organic and exotic global vegetables. Trinco Chillies, King of North Peppers, San Marzano/Oxheart tomatoes Our backyard bounty is amazing this year. We were impressed with our Green Peppers.  Last year, we lost a lot of them to slugs. For some reason, there weren’t too many slugs in the field this year.

Section of a harvest We grew these seedlings in our basement grow rack. We have planted them inside the green house and outside.  We were done with the green house harvest two weeks ago but the outside ones are still ripening nicely. They are firm and taste great.  Many have tried with just toasted bread, salt, pepper and mayonnaise.

Ox Heart Tomatoes in Milton Backyard We bought these as plants from a Milton Farmer.  They were planted outside during the May 24 weekend and have been thriving. We are getting beautiful nice sized tomatoes.  Nothing ripened yet.  But we are anxiously waiting. This backyard garden only gets Bunny manure from our Pet Loped ear(only one) bunny Curry.
